A South African dude, an artist and free thinker. What's new? I'm stable but fucked at the same time, I'm impulsive. I'll try any thing once, twice if I like it... and when I get excited, should I scream or have an orgasmn? This blog is my pure rant, getting the shit off my chest. It's really masturbation for my mind, take it or leave it!

| The Look of a Killer |

What does a killer look like? As for the photo, I am bemused!
This photo is the alleged boot (trunk) murderer Daniel van der Walt outside Pretoria magistrate's court, where he was re-arrested for Marlene Mauer's killing.
I'm still trying to figure out why the guy killed a young girl, from one report that I've read, he lured a girl to his ?home? with the promise of employment and beat her against the head with a blunt object. I also heard of a story that this girl was going to expose him for something he had did, so he silenced here. This is South Africa, any story could be true - however, I'm leaning on the reason he killed her is that she was going to expose him.
An anonymous source involved in the investigation earlier told the Beeld Newspaper that police were investigating the possibility that Van der Walt had killed Marlene in his home in The Woods in Meyers Park before taking the body to Hatfield, where it was found on February 11. Marlene had been hit in the face and over the head with a blunt object. A large, white blood-smeared container and green plastic bags were found on the back seat of the car. Marlene eas stuffed in to the boot (trunk) of a car
Mauer's body was found in the boot of her boyfriend's car in Hatfield, Pretoria, on Saturday, a day after she went missing between her home in Centurion and work in Waltloo.

| Nuno's, The Itchy Review? |

Venue: Nuno's Restaurant
Location: 7th Avenue, Melville, Gauteng, South Africa
Rating: 1/5 (yup, they suck)
This is the restaurant that initiated this idea on starting a black book / reviews for restaultants / pubs.
Look, I admit it. They have enticing specials, daily and bloody cheap to, man! I have had a few meals there before and they were ok, not fantastic, just ok.
Now, for the truth. On my two last attempts at Nuno's Restaurant, I've gotten sick. Throwing up all over the place, and it ain't funny. First time I had eaten a peri peri on their special. A few hours later, I kept think my mate's name was rrraaaaaaaaaaappppppffffffff... oops, that the sound of hurl juice. And, the last time, what was it? Shit, I don't remember, how could I.. I got horribly sick.

| Poker Hand Rankings |
 |
| February 17, 2006 |
 |
|
The basis of all Poker knowledge is built upon the hand rankings. Once these are understood you'll find a whole world of possibilities and game variations will be opened to you.
Take a moment to commit these to memory then take your new found understanding to the tables and there you'll begin to appreciate why Poker is the worlds' most popular card game.
Below, the hand rankings are displayed in an order of highest ranking hand (1. Royal Flush) to the lowest ranking hand (10. High Card). Five of a kind has been numbered 0 because it is only possible when wild cards are being used. If wild cards are being used, five of a kind is often considered the highest hand.

Ace-High
A five-card hand that has no hand combinations (flush, straight, pair etc), but contains one Ace.
All-in When you bet all your money on a hand, either voluntarily in the belief that you have the strongest hand, or because do not have enough money to cover the full amount bet by someone else. You then contend for the pot in an amount proportional to what you contributed.
Ante
The minimum bet that players must place into the pot by each player before betting begins. The ante is placed before any cards are dealt.

| Game Types: Texas Hold'em |
 |
|
 |
|
Texas Hold'em is the most popular form of poker played in poker rooms today, both land-based and online. As the chosen game of the World Series of Poker Finals, it is the game by which ultimate poker skill is measured.
Texas Hold'em is a fast-paced, exciting type of poker, with lots of betting action. Each player is dealt 2 cards, and then 5 communal cards are dealt to the board, over the course of 3 betting rounds. This means that all the players at the table can see 5 out of the 7 possible cards that everyone will use to build their strongest hand for the showdown. Contrast this with 7-Card Stud where each person only has two cards visible, and 5 cards cannot be seen by the other players. The upshot is that it is easier to predict what hands your opponents could be holding. This, on the one hand, is an advantage, but also means that it can be harder to bluff. This makes for a fast, aggressive game in which you'll need to know your stuff to survive.

| Poker Game Betting Limits |

The betting limits of a poker game determine the maximum amount that may be bet per betting round.
There are 3 different possible types of betting limits:
Fixed Limit
Pot Limit
No Limit
Fixed Limit
In a fixed limit game, the betting limits are constant per betting round. Typically the bet limit for the initial rounds of betting is set at the lower limit, and for the later rounds, at the upper limit.
